Volunteer Waiver & Release

Thank you for serving with Eden’s Table.

This waiver applies to all volunteer activities, service projects, outreach events, community initiatives, special projects, food distribution efforts, and other ministry opportunities organized, hosted, or supported by Eden’s Table. (e.g Love Your Neighbor)

By participating as a volunteer, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability

I understand that volunteering with Eden’s Table may involve physical activity and potential risks, including but not limited to lifting, carrying items, walking, driving, working outdoors, cleaning, organizing, serving food, assisting community members, using hand tools, participating in home or community improvement projects, and other volunteer activities.

I voluntarily choose to participate and accept responsibility for any risks associated with my involvement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release, waive, and hold harmless Eden’s Table, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives, partners, sponsors, and affiliated organizations from any claims, injuries, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from my participation in Eden’s Table activities.

Medical Authorization

I understand that Eden’s Table volunteers are not responsible for providing medical care. In the event of an emergency, I authorize Eden’s Table representatives to seek emergency medical assistance on my behalf if I am unable to provide consent.

I understand that I am responsible for any medical expenses incurred.

Volunteer Expectations

I agree to serve in a manner that reflects the mission and values of Eden’s Table by treating others with kindness, respect, dignity, and compassion.

I understand that Eden’s Table reserves the right to determine appropriate volunteer involvement and may ask a volunteer to discontinue participation if necessary.

Photo & Media Release

I grant Eden’s Table permission to photograph, record, or otherwise capture my image, voice, or likeness during volunteer activities. I authorize Eden’s Table to use these materials for ministry communication, promotional purposes, fundraising, educational materials, websites, social media, and other related purposes without compensation.

Minors

Volunteers under the age of 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian before participating.

Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or approved responsible adult while volunteering.

By signing this agreement, the parent or legal guardian agrees to these terms on behalf of the minor participant.
